Proven accuracy compared to invasive laboratory methods¹

In comparisons of SpCO readings with invasive carboxyhemoglobin (COHb) measurements taken at the same time and analyzed by a laboratory CO-Oximeter, SpCO was validated in the range of 1-40% with an accuracy of + 3%.¹

Reimbursement²

• > CPT code 88740 (transcutaneous carboxyhemoglobin) is the appropriate code to use for SpCO testing³
• > Allows healthcare providers to bill and receive up to $7.33 per patient per day when testing eligible patients^4,5
