Proven accuracy compared to invasive laboratory methods¹

In comparisons of SpHb readings with invasive methemoglobin (MetHb) measurements taken at the same time and analyzed by a laboratory COOximeter, SpMet was validated in the range of 1-15% with an accuracy of + 1%.¹

Reimbursement²

• > CPT code 88741 (transcutaneous methemoglobin) is the appropriate code to use for SpMet testing³
